Every room tells a story – yours.
From planning to the execution of the assembly, we accompany you as interior designers and carpenters with experience, intuition, and passion – so that a project becomes a home. We at OKUS listen closely: What life circumstances shape you? What gives you peace, what gives you energy, what gives you a sense of security? Only when we have understood you does the concept for your home emerge.
This is how furnishings are created that do not come from a catalog, but from your life: a dining table that becomes the centerpiece of your family. Fabrics that gently filter light and create atmosphere. Colors that radiate harmony. Rooms that resonate because acoustics and light are perfectly coordinated.
We combine craftsmanship, experience, and intuition – and create spaces that are more than just beautiful: They fit you.

ABSORBER SYSTEMS
Room acoustics
When rooms become too loud.
Glass, concrete, and steel shape modern architecture – elegant, but acoustically often merciless. Without carpets, curtains, or textile surfaces, a harsh acoustic backdrop quickly emerges: conversations echo, sounds overlap, and the atmosphere feels restless.
What initially seems only annoying, over time leads to stress, decreased concentration, and quick fatigue. This is exactly where we come in: With customized acoustic solutions, we create noticeable relief and a completely new sense of space.
Whether as a discreet, almost invisible system or as a deliberately designed eye-catcher – we calculate precisely, plan individually, and ensure that spaces not only look beautiful but also sound great.
Our consulting process
1. Initial consultation & needs assessment
In a personal conversation, we will get to know your living situation, your wishes, ideas, habits, and spatial conditions in detail.
2. Concept & Effect
We develop a coherent interior design concept in terms of materials, colors, functionality, and spatial impact – tailored to your life reality.
3. Visualization & Fine-Tuning
For better decision-making, we visualize design ideas and variations to realistically assess the sense of space, proportions, and materials.
4. Implementation & Long-term Support
We accompany the implementation with high-quality, sustainable furniture and individual solutions, and we remain a long-term point of contact for adjustments and additions.
Okus Brombach
About us
OKUS is a family business with a passion for interior design.
OKUS – the Serbo-Croatian word for "taste" – represents our approach: to design spaces and furniture with sensitivity, quality, and character.
Founded by Zenita and Daniel Weirich, we combine design expertise, artisanal precision, and a keen sense for people and spaces. Our goal is to create and realize interior concepts that are esthetically convincing, emotionally touching, and enduring in the long term.
We work with selected manufacturers and partners who share our values – focusing on sustainability, honest materials, and responsible production. Because true quality is not only recognized on the surface, but in every detail.
